Children aged 13 to 17 may participate unaccompanied if they have parental permission and a signed Parental Consent form. The only exemption is where a young person having reached the age of 16 can prove that they are no longer living with their parents or guardians and are living as an independent adult. We put on the event on a volunteer basis, the main aim of the event is to generate as much money as possible for good causes. We are very grateful to all the volunteers and event sponsors that make it possible. We will only deduct costs from riders entry money if we can't find sponsors to cover these costs.

It would be amazing if you could support us! We have a range of different sponsorship opportunities to fit various budgets. We are also always grateful to volunteers or organisations contacting us if they would like to get involved on the day.

Please email us info@starleysportive.co.uk
We will release the finalised routes 7-10 days prior to the event, this is to prevent having to issue multiple route directions that may cause confusion. We have learnt over the years that we may have to put minor changes in due to roadworks. The routes will be available to download from our website and will also be emailed to riders.
To speed up your event day you will be able to collect your pack from Ride cycle shop in Coventry prior to the event. We will notify you on when it will be available. You are only able to collect your own as you will need to sign your registration form. If you are unable to collect prior to the event you will be able to collect on the morning of the event.
No, we will not have on the day registration. The only way to enter the event is to register before the day.
The event is open road, riders are expected to follow the rules of the road and be courteous to other road users.
We put out hundreds of signs marking the routes, we will also email you turn by turn routes for you to print off and we have GPX routes that will be available to download. (please note that we don't issue these until 7-10 days before the event)
